Dance
Iram was a part of the 2007 California state champion USC Bollywood dance team, “ANJAANE”. Here is an audience clip of that award winning performance. Apart from that, Iram’s first passion has always been dancing. Bollywood just adds that extra “masala” to it!
Science
Being a graduate of Caltech, science and encouragement of science will always be a part of Iram’s life. She is actively involved in high school and college tutoring of Math, Science and Engineering.

Community Service
Here are a few community service organizations that Iram supports, trusts and admires for their accountability and grass roots efforts in her homeland of Pakistan.
-- Parveen Saeed’s Khana Ghar: An effort to wipe out crime through hunger elimination. This woman is a true Pakistani hero and is not waiting for Pakistan’s inertial politicians to make a difference.
-- Greg Mortensen’s (Three Cups of Tea), Central Asia Institute: It is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with the mission to promote and support community-based education, especially for girls, in remote regions of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
-- AppnaSehat: This organization believes that nobody else from outside can bring about the required change in the community except the community itself. Check out the extensive program of Appna Sehat.
